We have Jack, who resides in the bar. He is quite a mischievous ghost.<br/><br/>''Jack was supposed to be a sailor, and the story goes that he was taken out on to the moors and murdered.''<br/><br/>Jamaica Inn’s paranormal prankster Jack is alleged to move drinks, and he is frequently blamed for spilled pints and smashed glasses.<br/><br/>But recently the CCTV cameras in the bar have caught him in the act, knocking a drinker’s beverage flying from the table.<br/><br/>Katy said: “They were sat at one of the tables in the main bar, very close to where Jack is supposed to sit.<br/><br/>“I have definitely experienced things here that I cannot explain.”<br/><br/>Local legend says that the ghost of Jack has been wandering the ancient inn and nearby moors for well over a century.<br/><br/>Jamaica Inn’s paranormal manager Karin Beasant said: “A lovely barmaid called April, it was a Sunday night, round about half past ten, she was doing the cleaning, as you can see from the footage. <br/><br/>''You see her turn her head because she hears the bar door open but no one enters. <br/><br/>''There was no one left in the bar, and then from another angle, you see the phone that’s on the wall lift up and fly across and drop. <br/><br/>''That scared her… but the staff are so used to things like this. Overall, the majority of the scenes revolve around a small group of society members, depicting everything from internal society politics to nosy neighbours.<br/><br/>While the first few episodes keep you hooked primarily due to the involvement of so many characters and their personal lives, as well as their link to the crime, there are some that drag on, especially those involving Sonu caring for Mr. Tondon (Sameer Kakkar). Ideally, the shorter episodes and tight editing (by Konark Saxena) would have aided the plot's progression while maintaining the show's pace. _cctv-shows-six-women-39dine-and-dashers39-fleeing-pub-after-racking-up-140-bill.jpg "Footage shows six ‘dine and dash’ women brazenly walking out of a pub without paying a £140 bill.<br/><br/>The women stuffed their faces with food and booze on a Saturday afternoon at the Wheelbarrow Castle pub in Worcester.<br/><br/>Footage from the pub’s security camera shows the tracksuit-wearing women filing past the bar with one pushing a pram.<br/><br/>One of the women even takes time to stand and pick her nose while waiting for her friends to walk out without paying.<br/><br/>The dine and dashers were caught on camera leaving the popular pub at around 3pm on Saturday, March 23.<br/><br/>The women fled in a dark blue 4x4 and a dark coloured VW Golf after spending several hours eating food and ordering alcoholic drinks.<br/><br/>Landlady Sarah Hutchins said staff tried to chase the women who swore and laughed as they drove away.<br/><br/>Sarah posted images of the women on the pub’s Facebook.<br/><br/>The post read: “These delightful ladies were part of a group of six women that decided to leave without paying their £140 bill!<br/><br/>“They shot off in a 73 plate car, nice of them to stick their fingers up to our staff who tried to chase after them as they sped off! <br/><br/>“You’d think they would be able to pay their bill unless their car was stolen too.<br/><br/>“You people are why pubs are closing every day. He is quite a mischievous ghost.<br/><br/>''Jack was supposed to be a sailor, and the story goes that he was taken out on to the moors and murdered.''<br/><br/>Jamaica Inn’s paranormal prankster Jack is alleged to move drinks, and he is frequently blamed for spilled pints and smashed glasses.<br/><br/>But recently the CCTV cameras in the bar have caught him in the act, knocking a drinker’s beverage flying from the table.<br/><br/>Katy said: “They were sat at one of the tables in the main bar, very close to where Jack is supposed to sit.<br/><br/>“I have definitely experienced things here that I cannot explain.”<br/><br/>Local legend says that the ghost of Jack has been wandering the ancient inn and nearby moors for well over a century.<br/><br/>Jamaica Inn’s paranormal manager Karin Beasant said: “A lovely barmaid called April, it was a Sunday night, round about half past ten, she was doing the cleaning, as you can see from the footage. <br/><br/>''You see her turn her head because she hears the bar door open but no one enters. <br/><br/>''There was no one left in the bar, and then from another angle, you see the phone that’s on the wall lift up and fly across and drop. <br/><br/>''That scared her… but the staff are so used to things like this. _cctv-shows-six-women-39dine-and-dashers39-fleeing-pub-after-racking-up-140-bill.webp "Footage shows six ‘dine and dash’ women brazenly walking out of a pub without paying a £140 bill.<br/><br/>The women stuffed their faces with food and booze on a Saturday afternoon at the Wheelbarrow Castle pub in Worcester.<br/><br/>Footage from the pub’s security camera shows the tracksuit-wearing women filing past the bar with one pushing a pram.<br/><br/>One of the women even takes time to stand and pick her nose while waiting for her friends to walk out without paying.<br/><br/>The dine and dashers were caught on camera leaving the popular pub at around 3pm on Saturday, March 23.<br/><br/>The women fled in a dark blue 4x4 and a dark coloured VW Golf after spending several hours eating food and ordering alcoholic drinks.<br/><br/>Landlady Sarah Hutchins said staff tried to chase the women who swore and laughed as they drove away.<br/><br/>Sarah posted images of the women on the pub’s Facebook.<br/><br/>The post read: “These delightful ladies were part of a group of six women that decided to leave without paying their £140 bill!<br/><br/>“They shot off in a 73 plate car, nice of them to stick their fingers up to our staff who tried to chase after them as they sped off! <br/><br/>“You’d think they would be able to pay their bill unless their car was stolen too.<br/><br/>“You people are why pubs are closing every day.
