Description: This original video discusses the release of political prisoners (tapol) related to communists and the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) during the New Order government under Soeharto in 1970-1979, both in the cities of Java Island and Buru Island, South Maluku. The liberation procession was reviewed, such as the oath of allegiance to Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, as well as the promise not to spread the doctrine of communism, Marxism and Leninism and their manifestations.<br/><br/>These political prisoners were arrested after the outbreak of the 30 September 1965 Movement, which was often referred to as G30S PKI, or Gestok (First October Movement) according to Soekarno.
