Description: Multimedia by Chelsea MurphynnAfter tap dancing for 12 years, Stephanie Harper got into a car accident. Forced to get knee surgery, her doctors told her she might never dance again. Now with a dance degree from Western Washington University and her own dance studio in downtown Bellingham, Wash., Harper can finally tap without pain. This piece is about her struggle to overcome an injury, and her plans to bring tap back to life in the hearts of her students at Harper&I.
